The Chicken and Veggies Skillet Dish
Prepare a tasty meal the combines the flavor of wholesome chicken with vegetables. These are the ingredients you’ll need to have before you get started:
- 1 thin-sliced chicken breast
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1 sweet potato (cubed)
- handful of fresh string beans
To create this simple skillet meal, you’ll need to start by adding the olive oil to the skillet on a medium-low flame. In the meantime, season your chicken breast with the sea salt and then place it in the skillet, adjusting the flame to low. Allow the chicken to cook for two minutes on each side before throwing your cubes of sweet potato and your string beans into the skillet.
After you’ve added the sweet potatoes and the string beans, add your cup of water and place a lid on top of the skillet. If you don’t have a lid for the skillet, you can always use foil. Continue cooking on a low flame, checking every 10 minutes. It should be complete in about 20 minutes when the potatoes and string beans are easy to cut into.
